YOU ARE CALLED TO SHOW FORTH HIS GLORY
1Pet.2.9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God ‘s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. (AMP)
Think about our opening scripture, it is so marvelous! What it means is that, you are not an accident. It doesn’t matter in what circumstance you were born, it doesn’t matter whether your parents wanted you or not, the very moment you accepted the lordship of Jesus Christ, you were born again (called out of darkness into God’s marvelous light.)
Haha, I love the Word of God. He didn’t just say you are called out from darkness into light, He qualified the kind of light you are called into – He is saying, that light you are called into is marvelous, hai, oh my God! But it doesn’t end there, an amazing thing happened when you got born again, the Bible says you were born so that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
This basically means that your life is set to display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. You can only do this when you are prosperous! I pray for you that you flourish in everything you do in Jesus Name!
