YOU BELONG TO GOD
1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
You are God’s prized possession. Isn’t it a lovely thing to hear that you are truly God’s property? Think about it. How marvelous it is to be God’s own! The breathtaking beauty of beholding yourself as God’s very own, prized possession.
Read this, 1John.3.1 “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” (NIV)
You belong to God. You ought to live for and unto Him. You cannot live how you want to live. You cannot live anyhow. Your life is not your own, this life that you have now is Christ’s. Col.3.1 – “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Col.3.2 – Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Col.3.3 – Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life–even though invisible to spectators–is with Christ in God. He is your life.”
Christ is your life. That’s why you cannot live a defeated life. Refuse to live a poor and weak life. Stand your ground in the Word and live big. You are made to rule, go ahead and take authority in your life and reveal God’s glory.
