BE SUBMISSIVE
Heb.13.17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. (NKJV)
For you to enjoy fellowship with God under the man of God whom you are called by God to serve God with, you have to understand the code of ethics in the work of ministry. You cannot serve God under a man of God if you don’t truly love him. Your love for him must be based on God’s Word.
You see, when you walk in the light of God’s Word, you cannot but walk in love! Well, it doesn’t mean you should go about carrying out instructions that are not in line with the Word of God in the name of loving your man of God.
Your man of God must be sound in the Word and every instruction he gives must be consistent with the Word of God.
Wherever there’s love, then obedience will be fulfilled. I mean, you cannot love your man of God and not obey his instructions – that will be a hypocritical love.
You must therefore abide in the Word so as to walk rightly in a way that will please God. Ensure that your man of God finds joy in you.
Don’t be that son or daughter that brings grief to the man of God. Be wise and remain constant in the Word. Be productive to your man of God!
