Award winning Nigerian female Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo has taken Obidiz, a secular musician to court for utterances she considers as derogatory against her personality.
The secular turned Gospel singer is demanding N2 billion from the upcoming secular musician for using derogatory words against her name in his latest song ‘Mercy Chinwo’.
In the song titled ‘Mercy Chinwo’ by Obidiz, the following defamatory words which gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo finds offensive were used;
“She dey share me the cake o, she no wan commitment, Mercy Chinwo for church but for club na Cardi B”
Was he actually referring to gospel musician Mercy Chinwo?
