The pastor for Jesus Is The Answer (JITA) Church, Savelugu South Branch, Rev. Benjamin T. Anang, stated in his message on Sunday, 14th of March, 2021 that, every born again Christian is bound to suffer as part of the Christian faith.
He hooked his message on Philippians 1:29,
For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake
He stated that, every Christian after believing in Christ should be ready to face the battles that will come with following Christ.
According to him, suffering is the fundamental part of the Christian faith and one cannot dodge it if you truly want to follow Christ.
He was quick to add that, this suffering can be endured, it is not meant to kill you but to process you for greater blessings in believing Christ.
He stated, “You cannot endure this suffering if you do not believe”
It is only your believe or faith in Christ that will help you endure this suffering.
He also added that, when you’re suffering, suffer not for bad things but for the sake of Christ.
