The Williams Sisters – God Will Deliver
The Williams Sisters is a gospel group from Philadelphia, Pa. They have been in the genre of gospel music over 30 years. They gained notoriety in 1996 with their hit, “Jesus Will Pick You Up If He Has to Reach Way Down”.
In 1997 it charted the Billboard charts and remained for an impressive 44 weeks. In addition, they were nominated for a Soul Train Awards (1997,1998) in the category of “Album of the Year” alongside gospel greats. Kirk Franklin, Dottie Peoples, and Clay Evans.
Their music carried them on a European tour with Bishop Freddie Washington and they were received with great fanfare. The music of these young ladies is filled with the anointing, a message of hope, rejuvenation, and a charge that you can do all things through Christ.
